Jamil Moreta made a splash, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Granby back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with five or more strikeouts. This year, Moreta has an ERA of 2.96 over 28.1 innings pitched.

Coming up, Moreta and Norview will host Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pilots are 9-1 against the Greyhounds going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
