Baseball Recap: Bishop Foley Takes a Loss

Bishop Foley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles.

Mason Kanar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. He is becoming a predictor of Bishop Foley's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 2-1 (and 5-9 when he doesn't). Nolan Murawski was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Bishop Foley's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Foley will face off against Fraser at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they will take on Gabriel Richard at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
