Basketball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Medina Christian Academy managed to keep up with Cornerstone Christian until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Medina Christian Academy Knights were outmatched by the Cornerstone Christian Patriots and fell 87-57. The Knights have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Quinn Kwasniak, who almost dropped a triple-double on 57 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists for Cornerstone Christian. The contest was Kwasniak's 18th in a row with at least 17 points. Darrien Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards.

Medina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Cornerstone Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Medina Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-56 loss against Open Door Christian on the 8th.
