Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lone Peak couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Westlake Thunder on Friday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Brady Holt paced Lone Peak's offense, picking up ten kills. Holt got some help from William Dayton and his 19 assists.

Lone Peak's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Westlake, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lone Peak will face off against Riverton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westlake, they will take on Mountain Ridge at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
