Football Game Preview: Lee Legends vs. Marcellus Wildcats

The Lee Legends will face off against the Marcellus Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Lee's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Godwin Heights on Friday. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Legends came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Wolverines are ranked 297th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marcellus). They blew past Muskegon Heights, posting a 64-12 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Marcellus, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3.
