It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Friday Harbor ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes by a score of 6-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Jackson Feliz made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Feliz wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Harrison Edge, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Friday Harbor pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Mount Vernon Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

As of now, neither Friday Harbor nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
