Soccer Game Preview: Spring vs. Stephenville

The Spring Lions will square off against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Spring's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Bridge City by a score of 2-0. The win was all the more spectacular given Spring's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 439th, while Bridge City are ranked 200th).

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Stephenville sidestepped Vidor for a 1-0 victory.

The win got Spring back to even at 3-3-1. As for Stephenville, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-2.
