Preview: West Lafayette Red Devils vs. Park Tudor Panthers
The West Lafayette Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Park Tudor Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lafayette will be strutting in after a victory while Park Tudor will be coming in after a defeat.
West Lafayette has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 30 points or more this season. They blew past Lebanon, posting a 64-32 victory at home. With that victory, West Lafayette brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.
It was another big night for Adrianne Tolen, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Molly Andrew, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Park Tudor unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Indianapolis Shortridge.
Rensselaer Central's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while West Lafayette's defeat dropped theirs to 5-3.
Everything came up roses for West Lafayette against Park Tudor when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 84-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Lafayette since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
