Recap: Fulton Hornets vs. Moberly Spartans
The Fulton Hornets were not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 76-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moberly. Fulton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Moberly apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Leading Moberly to victory were Cameron Doubrava and Ty Rucker. Doubrava went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 4 assists, while Rucker scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rucker has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jay Lindsay, who scored nine points.
Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Moberly, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulton will take on Hannibal at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moberly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Macon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Moberly focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
