Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indian Trail). They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Washington Purgolders by the margin of a single free throw, 68-67. The Hawks didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Indian Trail's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Euphrates Willis, who went 7 for 10 en route to 16 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. Silas Bolton was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Washington lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Christopher Blue, who posted ten points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Rudy Baker, who scored nine points.

Indian Trail is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Indian Trail will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Washington has already played their next contest (against Milwaukee Bay View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
