Softball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem fell victim to Marlington and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Dukes, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in April.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Marlington, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salem will face off against rival Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marlington is set to take on their familiar foe Minerva at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
