Baseball Recap: Princeton Vikings vs. Turpin Spartans
After a string of four wins, Princeton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 9-6 to the Turpin Spartans. Princeton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Turpin apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.
Daelyn Jarman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lonell Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Turpin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
As of now, neither Princeton nor Turpin have any future games scheduled.
