Baseball Game Preview: Hermiston Bulldogs vs. Kennewick Lions

Hermiston is 0-10 against Kennewick since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 4:00 p.m.

Hermiston fell victim to Hanford and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 6-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kennewick entered their tilt with Southridge on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Suns 16-5. Considering the Lions have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennewick's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Hermiston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Hermiston suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Kennewick when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
