Softball Recap: Marian Comes Up Short

Marian was the 6-5 winner over University Liggett when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 11-10 on Monday.

Marian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-2. As for University Liggett, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marian will venture away from home to take on Richard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for University Liggett, they will head out to square off against Regina at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
