Basketball Recap: St. Charles Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Haynes Academy last Saturday, St. Charles Catholic came back down to earth. The St. Charles Catholic Comets took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison Prep Academy on Thursday. The contest marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

St. Charles Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Madison Prep Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

St. Charles Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Iowa at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison Prep Academy, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge East St. John at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
