Softball Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Eastern Musketeers        
        
		
            
 Clarksville lost against Eastern back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Clarksville Generals fell  7-3 to the Eastern Musketeers. Clarksville has not had much luck with Eastern recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
  Aaliyah Watts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Clarksville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kenzie Alexander, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Bailey Senior was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 On Eastern's side,  Sidney Patton and  Bracie Jackson made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Patton   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile,  Jackson   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. At bat,  Patton  scored a  run while going 1-for-3, while  Jackson  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Adriana Dolleris, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kylie Batt, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Eastern, their win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-14.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing South Central the next time they take the field. Clarksville will head out to face South Central at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday, while Eastern will head out to face them  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
