Soccer Recap: South Houston Falls to Cesar E. Chavez in First Game of Season

South Houston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos on Tuesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.

Cesar E. Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

South Houston is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Goose Creek Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cesar E. Chavez, they will host Alief Elsik at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
