            Volleyball Recap: Northwest Guilford Vikings vs. West Forsyth Titans        
        
		
        
        
            
Northwest Guilford lost against West Forsyth back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against  the Titans, falling  3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 While Northwest Guilford had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18,  25-19.
 Karrington Cook paced Northwest Guilford's offense, picking up ten kills. Cook got some help from  Heliena Magno and her 12 assists. Magno and  Cook didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.
  Anna Hege was the offensive standout of the  game as she  had ten  digs and one  assist. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Northwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for West Forsyth, their win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-2.
 Coming up, Northwest Guilford will take on East Forsyth at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for West Forsyth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-1  loss against Grimsley on the 13th.
