Palmer Ridge waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Lewis-Palmer Rangers with a sharp 13-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 back in September.

Pam Boyarko spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Corinna Arellano was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Rielyn Bentz was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Palmer Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in seven consecutive contests.

Palmer Ridge's record is now 17-3. As for Lewis-Palmer, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Coincidentally, Palmer Ridge and Lewis-Palmer will both be playing Cheyenne Mountain the next time they take the field. The Rangers will host the Red-Tailed Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
