Volleyball Recap: Clear Fork Colts vs. Ontario Warriors
Clear Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Ontario Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-15.
Rozy Stover paced Clear Fork's offense, picking up seven kills. Stover got some help from Brinly Epneris and her six assists. Jada Brokaw controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Ontario can attribute much of their success to Haleigh Hefner, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Hefner a new career-high.
Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ontario, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Clear Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Pleasant on the 18th. As for Ontario, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Galion on the 18th.
