Volleyball Game Preview: Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades vs. Burwell Longhorns

The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades will head out on the road to face off against the Burwell Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chambers/Wheeler Central has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 23.

On Thursday, Chambers/Wheeler Central came up short against Wausa and fell 3-1. While the Renegades didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-11 in the first set.

Chambers/Wheeler Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 11-25, 25-17, 25-18, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Burwell also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Riverside by a score of 2-0. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Burwell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Burwell, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Chambers/Wheeler Central couldn't quite get it done against Burwell in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Renegades avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
