While Perry Meridian's victory against Lawrence Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Bears on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bella Osterhoudt was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliysa Baird, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Perry Meridian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Perry Meridian's record now sits at 7-9. As for Lawrence Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Perry Meridian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 20-5 win against Pike on the 5th. As for Lawrence Central, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Seymour on the 3rd.
