Sean Mulkey and Taylor Mooneyham provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Cabool. The connection was good for 52 yards, the longest such play in Mid-Lakes this season.
Pleasant Hope moved up to 279 from 317 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of topping Sherwood 20-14.
Strafford's dynamic duo of Jacob Wade and Brady Collier proved tough for Hollister to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wade threw for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns and Collier had 92 yards receiving. Dallas Hester helped Strafford's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 96 yards.
The Indians' dynamic duo of Wade and Collier proved to be unstoppable against the Tigers, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Logan Allred was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 120 yards as Ash Grove bested Hollister. Mooneyham also contributed to the rushing game with 53 yards on the ground.
Wade put up the best numbers through the air as Tim Hester's team topped the Tigers.
Collier was the best wideout in Mid-Lakes this week as the Indians beat Hollister.
6-foot-4 quarterback Wade of Strafford is the league leader in passing yards this season with 287. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Garrett Cline. The Ash Grove star has 5 catches for 98 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Stockton takes on the Pirates. The Tigers are in second place, while Ash Grove is in seventh place.
