Basketball Recap: Gueydan Takes a Loss

Gueydan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Centerville Bulldogs 70-37. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 68-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gueydan's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Centerville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gueydan will challenge Pine Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centerville, they will take on Jeanerette at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
