            Volleyball Recap: Methuen Rangers vs. Andover Golden Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Dracut  on Monday, Methuen came back down to earth. The Rangers came up short against  the Andover Golden Warriors on Friday, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13,  25-9.
 Caylee O'Brien paced Methuen's offense, picking up six kills. O'Brien got some help from  Kathryn Driend and her 11 assists. Finally,  Cali Lucas kept Methuen's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
  Tina Zheng had a dynamite game For Andover.,  getting 33 assists and seven  digs. Zheng has been hot, having  posted 21 or more  assists the last five times she's  played.  Gabby De La Cruz also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.

The  loss snapped Methuen's winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Andover, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season.
As of now, neither Methuen nor Andover have any future games scheduled.
