Soccer Recap: Monclova Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Monclova Christian Academy lost against State Line Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thunder lost 9-2 to the Patriots. While losing is never fun, Monclova Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 477th in Ohio, while State Line Christian are ranked 137th in Michigan).

Monclova Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for State Line Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Monclova Christian Academy will head out to challenge Bowling Green Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Monclova Christian Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for State Line Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Faith Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
