Softball Recap: Mountain Home Takes a Loss

Mountain Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Buhl Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 on Tuesday.

Avery Blair was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Mountain Home's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Buhl, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Home will face off against Canyon Ridge at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Riverhawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Buhl, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wendell at 4:00 p.m. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 14.4 runs per game this season.
