Recap: Franklin Warriors vs. Hillsborough Raiders
The Franklin Warriors entered their tilt with the Hillsborough Raiders with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Franklin skirted past Hillsborough 45-43. This was payback for Franklin, who suffered a 51-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Hillsborough's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Green, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Harrison, who scored 11 points.
Franklin's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Hillsborough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Eastside at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Eastside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Hillsborough, they will head out on the road to face off against Westfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
