Flag Football Recap: GINNY WILSON and EVE DENTON Pace Mountain View Defense

The Mountain View Toros came up short against the Marana Tigers on Tuesday and fell 17-7.

Even if they lost, Mountain View's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by GINNY WILSON and EVE DENTON, who racked up four sacks between them.

Marana found their leader in freshman Isabella Garcia, who threw for 221 yards and two TDs while completing 86.7% of her passes, and also rushed for 35 yards.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Marana, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-0 victory against Williams Field on the 25th. As for Marana, they have also already played their next contest, a 30-0 win against the Mountain Lions on the 25th.
