Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Spaulding turned things around against Peoples Academy on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-53 victory over the Wolves. That looming 68-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crimson Tide yet this season.

Meanwhile, Montpelier came tearing into Friday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 76-57.

Montpelier's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.1 points per game. As for Spaulding, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
