Volleyball Game Preview: Muir Mustangs vs. Hoover Tornados

The Muir Mustangs will head out to face off against the Hoover Tornados at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 19 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Muir and nine for Hoover.

Muir lost 3-0 to Burbank on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hoover came up short against Arcadia on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Hoover was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Arcadia's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Muir's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Muir might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Hoover in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
