Volleyball Game Preview: Murphy Bulldogs vs. Elkin Buckin' Elks

The Murphy Bulldogs will face off against the Elkin Buckin' Elks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Murphy managed to slip by Swain County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Maroon Devils on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Elkin came up short against Ashe County on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Buckin' Elks haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Murphy now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Elkin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
