Softball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Stonington Bears. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Addie Stanley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Stonington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Wheeler will welcome Killingly at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stonington, they will take on Fitch at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
