Lakewood Presbyterian won the last time they faced Faith Lutheran, and Maya Kinson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lakewood Presbyterian Knights secured a 42-37 W over the Faith Lutheran Lions on Friday thanks to Kinson, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Sarah Montgomery was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Faith Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madi Babisak, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Babisak continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Evangeline Hoff, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Lakewood Presbyterian's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Faith Lutheran, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Lakewood Presbyterian will take on Heritage Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lakewood Presbyterian surely won't give up without a fight. Faith Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
