Basketball Recap: Nipomo Takes a Loss

Nipomo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 56-34 to the Golden Valley Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, Nipomo still got an impressive performance from Elijah Quesada-Ridge, who posted eight points. Jonathan Vinn also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Nipomo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Golden Valley, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Nipomo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-45 loss against Reedley on the 13th. As for Golden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-52 victory against Pioneer Valley on the 13th.
