Soccer Recap: Rappahannock County Takes a Loss

Rappahannock County came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Stonewall Jackson Generals. If Rappahannock County was looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to Stonewall Jackson when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rappahannock County's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Stonewall Jackson, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5-1 record.

Coincidentally, Rappahannock County and Stonewall Jackson will both be playing Strasburg the next time they take the pitch. Stonewall Jackson will host Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rappahannock County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on May 2.
