Lucas has gone a perfect 6-0 against Crestline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Lucas is taking a road trip to take on Crestline at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lucas is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They fell 7-4 to Mansfield Senior.

Brady Anschutz was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Anschutz was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Will Whitesel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.

Meanwhile, Crestline might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was Colonel Crawford who claimed the real prize. Crestline took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Colonel Crawford. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Crestline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quentin Kapp, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Crestline now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lucas, their record now sits at 0-2.

Everything went Lucas' way against Crestline in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Lucas made off with an 11-1 win. Does Lucas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crestline turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
