Basketball Game Preview: Alden-Hebron Green Giants vs. Mooseheart Red Ramblers

Alden-Hebron is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Mooseheart a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Alden-Hebron Green Giants will host the Mooseheart Red Ramblers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Alden-Hebron is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Harvest Christian Academy on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Alden-Hebron was beaten by Harvest Christian Academy 70-29. The Green Giants were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.

Meanwhile, Mooseheart came up short against Aurora Central Catholic on Friday, falling 62-42.

Alden-Hebron will have to contain John McGowin as he made an impact in Mooseheart's last game. He posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Zeon, who earned seven points and six boards.

Alden-Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Mooseheart, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
