Pioneer won the last time they faced North Miami and Micah Rans did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 41-22 win over the Warriors on Friday with plenty of help from Rans, who rushed for 325 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 20.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 120.8 rushing yards per game.

The victory (which was Pioneer's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average over those games. As for North Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Pioneer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-7 victory against South Central on the 26th. As for North Miami, they have also already played their next game, a 44-14 win against Winamac on the 26th.
