Football Game Preview: Hoboken Redwings vs. Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers

The Hoboken Redwings will face off against the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers on Thursday. Hoboken will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Hoboken's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Newark Central as they made off with a 24-0 victory. Considering the Redwings have won four games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contest, Newark Collegiate Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past Roselle 32-8 on Saturday. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hoboken's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Newark Collegiate Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Hoboken was able to grind out a solid win over Newark Collegiate Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 35-28. Do the Redwings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
