Basketball Recap: Bellaire Comes Up Short

Bellaire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mancelona Ironmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-30 back in January.

Bellaire's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Mancelona, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Bellaire has already played their next contest, a 49-28 loss against Boyne City on the 27th. Mancelona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
