Baseball Recap: Asotin Comes Up Short

Asotin lost to DeSales back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

CODY ELLS made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Asotin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for DeSales, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asotin will square off against Grangeville at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DeSales, they will head out to challenge Sunnyside Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
