Baseball Recap: Elysian Fields Takes a Loss

The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets lost 12-1 to the North DeSoto Griffins on Monday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evan White was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Elysian Fields' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North DeSoto, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Elysian Fields will face off against Ore City at 3:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for North DeSoto, they will host Glenbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
