Softball Recap: York County Tech Comes Up Short

York County Tech was the 17-1 winner over Fairfield when they last played one another on April 8th, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

York County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Fairfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, York County Tech will head out to challenge Shalom Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Flames have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.8 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fairfield, they will welcome Biglerville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
