Volleyball Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short

Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hampton Hornets, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Hampton, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-15 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spalding will face off against Lamar County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampton, they will square off against Putnam County at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
