Eisenhower managed to slip by Wenatchee the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cadets lost 18-9 to the Panthers on Tuesday. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Cadets' highest-scoring match to date.

Eisenhower's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wenatchee, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
