Volleyball Recap: Beloit Memorial Takes a Loss

Beloit Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers. If the Purple Knights were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Pacers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beloit Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-16 record this season.

Beloit Memorial will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westosha Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Christian on the 13th.
