Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Titans vs. Whitney Wildcats

Pioneer hasn't had much luck against Whitney recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Pioneer will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitney at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Pioneer got the win against Glenn by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Whitney entered their tilt with Pacifica on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Mariners by a score of 3-1.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Whitney, they pushed their record up to 12-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Pioneer couldn't quite get it done against Whitney in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Pioneer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
