Baseball Recap: Dewey Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dewey came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Rejoice Christian Eagles as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Bulldoggers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Lathe Griggs tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Garrison, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Dewey's record is now 15-2. As for Rejoice Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Dewey will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
