Softball Preview: Clinton Redwolves vs. Northwest Mounties

The Clinton Redwolves will challenge the Northwest Mounties at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Clinton was able to grind out a solid win over Ida, taking the game 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Redwolves in their matchups with the Bluestreaks: they've now won three in a row.

Taryn Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
